| This is Love Creek, at the northwest
end of Rehoboth Bay, as sunset approaches in late September 2004. |
| This pavilion sits on a
point near the end of Massey's Ditch, a boat-friendly connecting route
between Rehoboth Bay and Indian River Bay. This was shot in October 2004.

| The ride home from work
sometimes includes vivid sunsets, as in this picture shot in Kent County
north of Frederica. I think the fact that we're east of Washington, D.C. and
Baltimore may have something to do with that. |

| The Rookery Golf Course
sits along State Route One, east of Milton. I took this picture in December
2004, just after the first snowfall of the winter. It was about 10 degrees
outside, with a wind chill that went into below-zero territory. My fingers
nearly froze to the camera. |

| We
have about as many ice storms as we do snowstorms, thanks to being so near
the ocean. This isn't such a great deal for some of the ornamental grasses
folks like around here, but it's often very pretty. |
